COMPLETE MOLECULAR RESPONSE!
Otherwise known as cancer free with a catch. The leukemia still remains, and will always remain, but the cancer that once existed in my marrow and blood just over a year ago is completely gone! This is the news that I received during my quarterly visit to see Dr. Lategan on Tuesday morning.

'05 Fundraisers

All proceeds go to help Darin Gooda reach his goal for the
"Tour of Courage 2005".
A fundraising event put on by the Tom Baker Cancer Center in Calgary and Lance Armstrong. All of the money donated at these three events will be staying right here in Canada and will go towards developing a one of a kind cancer research facility that will help mediate the relationship between cancer and physical activity.

NEW YEARS IN VANCOUVER!
Looking for a something different to do this year for New Years? Want to be a part of a great time and deliver on a New Years resolution to make a difference in the cancer community all at the same time?
Mars INC. is putting together our biggest event yet and it will take place on
December 31st, 2005

Vancouver.

2nd Annual Picnic in the Park!
Where:
Binscarth, Manitoba / Binscarth Park n' Pool.
When:
July 3rd, 2005 at 5:00pm
What:
A late afternoon BBQ for anyone that can attend.
Why:
To raise money for cancer research through the Tour of Courage 2005!
Admission:
$7.00
Last year friends and family from my home town of Binscarth and surrouding areas gathered at the Binscarth Park and Pool in order to help raise money for cancer. The event, put on by my Mom's 500 Club, was an overwhelming success and raised about $5000.00!
This year, I am excited to say, they have decided to do it again. It will be very difficult to top the success of last year, but I am looking forward to trying. See you there!

2ND ANNUAL (PRE-STAMPEDE) CANCER FUNDRAISING EXTRAVAGANZA!
WHEN: Saturday June 25th, 2005 (Doors open at 7pm)
WHERE: The Huntington Hills Community Centre/520-78 ave NW Calgary, AB (It is the same location as last year. It is a non-smoking facility!)
WHY: To continue to raise money annually in order to give back to cancer research. This year all of the funds raised will be donated to the Tom Baker Cancer Centre through the Tour of Courage 2005.

Last year the "Hit for Brains" ball team organized the 1st Annual Cancer Fundraising Extravaganza in order to help me in my goal of raising $36,000.00 to give back to the cancer community. They blew away all expectations that I had and with the help of a large group of friends and family in attendence they helped raise an astonishing $10,750.00 in a single event.
Please join us on June 25th and help bring last years total to new heights. I look forward to seeing you there!
