 I had the opportunity to meet with Lance Armstrong at the Calgary "Tour Of Courage" benefit. As you can probably imagine, Lance's time is very hard to come by. He was kind enough to say hello and take a quick picture before he headed off to get ready for the dinner. It was great to have finally met him.

When I scheduled the appointment for the bone marrow testing, I scheduled it for 8:15am in hopes that I would still be half asleep when they performed the procedure. Sounded like it might work in my head, but unfortunately it did not play out the same in reality. There is no way for any human being to remain half asleep once they go to work in performing that procedure. It is just as painful as I remember it, and then some. |
